Today my host family brought me to a place called Shiragawago 白川郷 in Gufi 岐阜. It was a stunning place with the world cultural heritage known as Gassho 合掌 style houses (triangle-roof houses). Had a great time there!! Many Gassho houses have been turned into souvenir shops and guest houses, yet the taste of nostalgia still permeates the small and quiet village.
(Travel tip: if you want to enjoy a relatively quiet environment, go there after 3pm, when day tours start to leave the place and back to Kanazawa or Toyama.)
今日、ホストファミリーが私を岐阜県の白川郷に連れて行ってくれた。すーごくきれいなどころだ！色々な世界文化遺産の合掌造りという古跡があるので、古風
の気持ちが出てきた！私たちは3時半ぐらい着いて、たくさんの観光客が金沢や富山に戻り始めたので、その村はいつもの静かさに戻った。そこでゆっくりした
り、素晴らしい景色を楽しんだりすることができて、感謝してる！本当に楽しかった！
