Had the asthma medical consultation today. A
friend from Bible Study Group drove me to the clinic. She has spent a
year in Japan to study religion when she was young. Hence she
understands the feelings of international students very well, and
especially takes care of them. I thought of the time when I was
studying in Hong Kong. There were enormous numbers of international
students in both of my undergraduate and MPhil institutions, but I
didn’t really pay much attention to their needs. Well, it’s quite
shameful. But I will certainly bear in mind in the future!
BTW, suddenly thought of this hymn today. God, You are always the faithful one!
今日は喘息の医療予約があるんですが、聖書研究会の友人は診療所に私を運転しました。キャンパスから、診療所まで、車で十五分かかります。この友達はアメ
リカ人なで、一年間日本に勉強しに行きましたから、留学生の気持ちは理解します。ですから、特に留学生の世話をします。とても優しくて親切ですよ！サンク
スギビングデーに、この友達のうちにパーティがあって、やっぱり嬉しかったです。
それから、私の香港の大学と大学院にたくさん留学生がいますけど、私は全然気にならなかったです。本当に残念ですね。。。でも、今から、改善をしています！
