“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!” (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10)
I am not a group person, and I am very introverted. But over different seasons God has been teaching me to appreciate the beauty of faithful friendship. Especially when your friend would take delight to pray and cheer you up right before you try to pour out to serve in ways sort of outside your comfort zone. Especially when you almost fell into the trap of self-condemnation on how unfaithful you have been and then your friend reminded you to give more grace on yourself because Jesus has so much grace on us. Also especially when your friend asked you not to pretend you're going to wash the dish and cup by knowing how lazy and germaphobic you're, and then was willing to clean them without a complaint!
